In the region where I live in France - les Yvelines - the Department council has a grant named "Youth Adventures Award" dedicated for young people between 18 and 25 years old to support their sportive, cultural or scientific project.
The effects have to be concrete and socially useful for the personal development of the participants.

The grant I received after my application and presentation in front of a jury, is of 400 € and allows me to fund a 1/3 of the journey.

In return, I promise to submit a assessment and a detailed financial report on my return. At the same time, having the support of the General Council of Yvelines gives more importance to the project and expanded my circle of contacts to build concrete results with the actors of local life in Ile de France.
