Yvelines House of Europe

Founded in 2001, the Yvelines House of Europe is an association, a member of the French Federation of Europe Houses. There are currently 33 such structures in France. The association is also part of the European EUNET (European Network for Education and Training eV), which in 2009, has 60 active members from 19 European countries.

Their mission is to inform young people and support them in their approach to European mobility. The main programs are "Youth in Action" and "Leonardo"  but they're also collaborating with the French and German Office for Youth and Europe Direct network.

It is an association approved for sending and hosting volunteers in EVS. It also conducts outreach activities like Europe Mobile in October 2010 (a project to promote the European Union in high schools) and last year about the fall of the Berlin Wall (a meeting of youth groups from different countries).

The Maison de l'Europe des Yvelines is a great place to meet young people motivated and set up projects related to the development of the European Union.

"On the other side: a look at Latvia" receives support from the Yvelines House of Europe to conduct a public awareness campaign on the Youth in Action Programme and to inform them about opportunities and approaches of mobility .
